WORD INTENSIVEI thank God for a beyond great and beyond description day (:
Went for drama early at 12pm and happened to know Alicia's taking over drama too, 3 cheers! :D I had lunch with the girls below and beng. I missed all of them so much and i think i was really kinda high today. I was very happy just sitting on the same table with them, sighing and laughing all at the same time, sharing stuff and all - so i pulled them over for a photo before i miss the chance. Lovely right? Look at all our faces, we're smiling from our hearts (;
Just want you 5 to know how much i treasure all of you. Five 15year olds, and one 18yearold. Wouldnt normally find that would you? But this is how comfortable i feel with them. It's amazing how we can just sit in a circle, start pouring out things to one another and laugh about everything silly, but at the same time give one another Godly counsel and keeping God as the centre of this friendship. Maybe i'm childish, maybe there're mature - but i know God has placed them in my life for a reason. Whether i'm an elder sis to them, mummy, or just a girlfriend, i want to impact their lives because they mean THIS much to me. All of you have so much potential in you, keep growing okay! & let's get excited for Monday's night out :D :D
Cell was awesome yet silly at the same time today. Me and char like communication breakdown (my bad!), totally forgot what i said and what we talked about. Didnt inform anyone to lead any of the Gs, and no one printed out notes for Grow either! WE HAVE A PREDICAMENT. The other cell had the same problem, ken forgot to inform ppl, so we did a combined gel then broke up for glorify and sharing. I just kope-d ken's notes and started flowing in the spirit as i led the other Gs. God showed up today, it was tangible. Glorify was just a breeze, i was really so proud of my folks. 3 of them going SP course! Down with just 2 :D And when all of them shared from their hearts about what God has done in their lives over the 2 weeks, i was so blessed because it was the first time i didnt have to facilitate since everyone was so pro-active in sharing (: Grow was great too, sister vivi sat in. I'm sure everyone learnt something too amen? Keep it up guys, i'm really really proud of you all, though i've said it a 1001 times today (: Thank & praise God! :D
My awesome day didnt just stop there. Today's special event was great too. Maybe it was because i was just in high spirits but it was great (i need to think of a new word). I had fun laughing away with beng and the guys, jumping during worship with riel and the rest, and laughing at fuwei with his shades trying to keep a straight face throughout. During worship & communion, i then felt God tugging at my heart - and i heard this voice :
i'm sovereign. Okay, no link i thought. After the gameshow, PDa preached a short message, but amazing nevertheless. I looked back, at my past - a past i was pretty much ashamed of. I constantly felt like my past was preventing me from breaking through, i felt like people are judging me because of who i was. From all the hurt i've experienced, all the pain and shame i was put through - i felt not good enough, not worth it, useless to put it simply. That was when PDa made altar call, subsequently i heard this,
" So I lift my eyes to you LordIn your strength will I break through LordTouch me now, let your love fall down on meI know your love dispels all my fears.Through the storm I will hold on LordAnd I pray I will hold on, LordThen I'll see beyond my calvary one dayAnd I will be complete in you "
Complete,
in no one else but God. Then i understood. Through the ups and many downs in my life, i've sustained many many battle scars. Life in itself, was my battle. In a battle, you win some and lose some. But hey like what ariel said, those scars are only proof of God's mercy and grace in your life (amen). What God meant when He told me He's sovereign, is that He
IS Lord over my life. And in all things, through my joy and trials, He was holding me up in His right hand. & i don't have to be ashamed of the battle scars that i have all over me, because those battles made me stronger; made me grow; and caused me to be who i am in God today and i thank God for everything i've been put through - it helped me grow, share my experience and make sure i don't fall again! (:

First of all, i appreciate and thank God that you trust me enough to come up to me after service to speak to me (: Thank you for remembering all i've said to you, because i didnt just say it for fun or just to comfort you - i meant every word i said and you know it (: Remember, as friends we don't love the past or the future, we embrace the present which is a whole lot of past and present plus future put together! Who we love is Ariel okay? (:
& yes i do see alot of potential in you! Though i may be super one kind of a leader as you quote so, i hope this one kind hannah has done some good to you today (: You really gave me a first hand experience of how it is like in ministry, to be burdened so much by people around; the friends, the oikos, the chirstians and all that. May have spoken into alot of people's lives before, but today was a brand new experience so thank you! (:
Plus yes though u've MIA-ed quite abit, but i also told you friendship is not based on how often we talk, how much we talk, how often we meet and all that. I trust what you and i share, and i enjoyed the HTHT we had friday night too (; AND PLEASE, dont think about the 15year old to 18 yearold thing, i love talking to you and the age is NO FACTOR silly girl (: I'm as nut-sey as you are, so that doesnt make any difference :D
Thank you last but not least for being in my life. For always assuring me that i will step up to what God has called me to, for assuring me of your lurrvvve (hehe) and for all the HTHT we've had and WILL have in time to come (: And i didn't do anything or made you see anything, it's all God yah?
